Haas Door, located in Wauseon, Ohio, is seeking a Project Developer (Programmer) to program custom features, test tools, and more into our customer-facing order system.

 

This is a unique position that requires a self-starter, seeks continued improvement and learning, with impeccable focus and the ability to work independently for extended periods.

 

The position also requires a methodical mindset that can work on 1 project or multiple projects, checking and double-checking for accuracy. This role carries a high level of responsibility for ensuring information accuracy.

 

What you will do

Writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining code for software, websites, or systems, turning designs into functional instructions using languages like VB.net / C# / Java / Javascript / HTML / CSS / ASP.net / Blazor, and collaborating with teams to improve performance, fix bugs, and add features. Key duties include code review, documentation, staying up to date on technology, and, at times, designing system architecture, which requires strong logical and problem-solving skills.

Programming Configure One software using a logical approach (using process flow and product rules)

Work as a team on projects from start to completion and follow the project lead’s direction

Lead development projects with other programmers

Document your work, SOWs, project plan timelines, and keep the team’s documentation up to date to ensure others can follow your work

Verify programming by conducting tests: This includes proofing one's own work, using provided proofing tools, and working closely with Engineers to fix and release changes in a timely manner

Knowing how to write SQL queries is a bonus as well as familiarity with Git / Github

What you must have

2-4 Years of experience and/or secondary education related to software programming

Complete the logic and math tests with passing scores

Good documentation, organization, and time management skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work full-time on-site

Basic knowledge of product manufacturing is a bonus
