JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician performs tasks involved in the upkeep of the building and grounds, installation, maintenance, maintaining and repairing of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical and/or electrical systems on all production machines, equipment and/or buildings. Maintenance Technicians are expected to be self-starters, good managers of time, and follow Haas Door standards for safety and conduct.
All technician levels must have a high school diploma/equivalent, be able to work full time and meet the physical requirements of the job: able to lift 50 lbs, bend, twist, kneel, climb, reach/stretch, push and pull, and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
TECH 3
Responsibilities
Maintenance Tech 3’s troubleshoot problems and repairs or replaces worn or broken parts as necessary. This includes moving, assembling, installing or dismantling machinery. They also analyze plans for new equipment and map out space to unpack and assemble new equipment. They may perform welding, fabrication, or calibration as needed. Incumbents may fabricate machine guards, install or repair conveyors, replace motors, tear down or replace pumps, maintain fluid collection or distribution equipment or repair electro-mechanical equipment. They may provide work training to less experienced maintenance technicians.
