JOB SUMMARY: The Production Supervisor manages and directs production employees in their designated area, ensuring compliance with company policies, goals, and department objectives while fostering a professional and positive work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coach, develop, and guide production employees in daily tasks and functions
Oversee safety, quality, cleanliness, and efficiency in the production area
Ensure accurate recording and reporting of production data
Communicate effectively with other shifts regarding personnel, equipment, or process-related issues
Provide coaching, counseling, and implement corrective actions as needed
Manage the proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools
Maintain high-performance standards among production employees
Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives
Enforce company policies and guidelines
Assist in addressing personnel issues and fostering positive employee relations
Develop and provide training for production employees as needed
Monitor and track performance metrics, taking corrective action when necessary
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and cross-functional alignment
Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Manufacturing experience preferred
Proven supervisory or leadership experience
Proficiency or ability to learn various computer office applications, preferably Google Workspace (Spreadsheets, Docs, Gmail, and Slides)
Ability to work full-time and additional hours as needed
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods
